Auditor/Treasurer

The McKenzie County Auditor serves as the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners and the Chief Financial Officer, managing all financial dealings, including payroll, bill payments, and budget control. The Auditor oversees the county budget process, calculates tax levies, handles delinquent taxes, and administers county elections. Additional duties include issuing licenses and permits, managing insurance coverages, and maintaining vital records and documents. The Auditor also acts as the secretary for the County Park Board and ensures compliance with various financial and administrative responsibilities.
