School District Annexation

An annexation is the process of redefining the school district line into a new school district. Your first step in the process is to contact the Superintendent of School's Office and seek assistance in completing the Annexation Petition. The McKenzie County Reorganization Committee will then vote on whether to pass or deny the petition. If there is testimony against the petition, it will go to Bismarck where the state committee will approve or deny the petition.
